What the checkup finds
Five places money goes quiet.
Every finding carries a dollar figure and links to the transactions behind it, so you can check our work line by line.
Spend leakage
Duplicate tools, unused seats, vendors who raised prices while nobody was watching, and payments that went out twice.
Working capital
Days sales outstanding by customer, days payable by vendor, and the cash sitting in the gap between them.
Margin by customer
Gross margin by customer, product or job, wherever your chart of accounts lets us see it. Some accounts cost more than they pay.
Peer benchmarks
Your operating expense ratios against companies of the same industry and revenue band.
Books a buyer will trust
Miscoded transactions, unreconciled accounts and owner expenses mixed into operations. Fixing these now is cheaper than explaining them in diligence.
Cash runway
A 13-week cash view built from your actual payment patterns, not the terms on your invoices.
After the checkup
The work gets drafted. You still sign off.
Once you're on a monthly plan, Nori Cap prepares the follow-through: the renegotiation email, the collections nudge, the cancellation list. Nothing goes out until someone on your team approves it.
- We connect read-only. Your ledger stays exactly as you left it.
- Every draft waits in a queue for a named person to approve.
- We never touch bank accounts, payroll or tax filings.
How it works
The checkup is the first step.

When you chooseClean, defensible books and an adjusted EBITDA bridge, ready for lenders, investors or a buyer.
Exit readiness
See what a buyer's diligence will find, before they find it.

Nori Cap builds the adjusted EBITDA bridge a buyer will build, and flags the items they will push back on.

Questions
Before you connect.
What do you read?
Your general ledger, invoices, bills and bank and card transactions for the last twelve months. If you use Stripe, Shopify or a payroll system, you can add those too. We read; we never write.
What if my books are messy?
Most are. The checkup handles miscoded and uncategorized transactions and tells you how much of your spend it couldn't place. Messy books are often a finding in their own right.
How long does the checkup take?
Our goal is to send it back within a few days of connecting. During early access we'll confirm the timing when your spot opens. Companies with several entities take longer.
Is it really free?
Yes. The Profit Checkup is free during early access, with no credit card. If it finds enough to justify a deep dive, we'll talk about that separately.
Is this tax or investment advice?
No. Nori Cap finds and sizes operating improvements in your own numbers. For tax, legal and investment decisions, keep working with your CPA and advisors, or bring them in as partners.
Who is behind Nori Cap?
Nori Cap is built by a former Wall Street M&A banker and private equity investor who has spent years inside company financials on both sides of a deal. Questions go straight to pa@noricap.com.
Who is it for?
Owner-led and founder-led companies with roughly $3M to $75M in revenue, and the advisors who serve them.
